The Cruise

This year I'm planning 
To take my mom on a cruise
I want her to enjoy it 
Since she is young and able to
This is a birthday gift
It's the best I can do
After she has done everything for me  

I could never repay
All that she's done for me
But this cruise I have planned
I'm trying the best that I can
She has so much to offer
I could not match all she has given
I would like to make her feel
As though she's died and gone to heaven

From what I have heard
This is a once in a lifetime experience
I hope she can realize 
That my gift will help her feel more alive
I'm hoping she will enjoy this
