My Journey Of Understanding

My feelings and understanding

While I was young

Was only centered around me

When I was very young

While my pride was all I knew

I was selfish and gave no thanks

Until I needed His love

I got down on my knees 

and Prayed to my Lord above

But I was scared to ask

I could feel Him in my heart

Without asking Him to enter

He lifted me up and blessed me with a everlasting start

My shame it then quickly followed

But while this He never left me

He just allowed me to grow

It's now that I realize His love will never leave me
